We have something to share: we lurrrve celebrity weddings. And we love it even more when celebs surprise us by getting hitched on the down-low.
These are the celebs who turn their back on the Hollywood wedding circus and tie the knot without reality TV specials, magazine covers and glossy spreads. So really they're just like us, right? And you've gotta hand it to these guys, keeping a secret in La La Land is tough stuff, especially when you're trying to plan a wedding. That's why we grin like goons whenever we find out some of our fave loved-up pairs have managed to dupe the paparazzi and get married without so much as a cryptic tweet. To celebrate all things hush-hush, we've collated a list of our top 10 secret celeb weddings, and while some were expected (read: the couple were engaged, so a wedding had to happen at some point), others made our jaws hit the floor.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher
We're kicking off with the couple who most recently made the trip down the aisle, Jackie and Kelso Mila and Ashton. Following their stint as on-again-off-again lovers on That 70s Show and Ashton's marriage to Demi Moore, this relaxed pair finally got together for real this weekend. As well as giving us serious relationship goals (just look how happy they are!), they also welcomed daughter Wyatt last year. Ever since, mags have speculated that they tied the knot, but reports fresh out of Hollywood suggest it's the real deal this time. These two have kept their relationship pretty much under wraps so far - except for their basketball and Starbucks jaunts - so we doubt we'll be seeing a spread of wedding pics any time soon, but we're keeping our fingers crossed!
Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman
Taking her cues - literally, she hired the same wedding planner - from another secretive celeb, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway wed Adam Shulman in Big Sur, California, in 2012. The Oscar-winning actress donned an off-the-shoulder Valentino gown, as well as an elaborate veil that we credit with kick-starting our obsession with vintage headpieces. We don't know much about their nuptials, except that the rehearsal dinner was hosted at Ventana Inn and Spa, the couple's vows were witnessed by 100 guests and that the decor for the big day was inspired by nature, complete with a scattering of branches at the ceremony and reception.

Beyonce and Jay Z
See how smug Bey's face is? Is it because she got A-lister access to one of the most famous paintings in the world? Probably. But it also might be because she knows we're still dying to see just how her and Jay Z's nuptials really went down in New York City in 2008. Sure, we've seen snippets of video, which the pair played on their joint tour, On The Run, but we'd be lying like a rug if we said we didn't want more. The pair had dated for six years before getting hitched, and were so secret about the whole affair that even when Jay was congratulated after the fact, he responded, "I don't know what you're talking about". Sneaky.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
How do you pull off the ultimate secret wedding? By getting hitched when no-one even knows you're engaged! That's exactly what Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds did, with an under-the-radar ceremony in South Carolina in 2012. It sounds like Ryan's a fan of the hush-hush wedding, because his wedding to ex-wife Scarlett Johansson was also top secret. The couple haven't officially shown off any of their wedding snaps yet, but a clip of Blake dancing in a couture Marchesa gown was released on her website in 2014. The blonde beauty also revealed in an interview that Florence Welch, from Florence + The Machine, sang at the couple's reception.
Leighton Meester and Adam Brody
Is this a match made in teen TV heaven? We think so. And our teenage selves went giddy when we found out that Blair Waldorf had tied the knot to everyone's favourite Orange Country nerd, Seth Cohen. Leighton and Adam surprised us when they stepped out as husband and wife in early 2014, three months after Adam popped the question. Maybe the hush-hush nuptials are a Gossip Girl thing?
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom
Another genetically-perfect pair, another secret wedding. Is anyone sensing a theme here? This gorgeous pair stepped out in 2007, even though Miranda later admitted she was reluctant to start up a relationship with an actor, but in April 2008 they had their first outing as an official couple. In 2009, the whispers started about an engagement after the model was spotted with some serious bling bling on her left finger, and only one month after publicly confirming their new relationship status, the couple tied the knot. Fast forward another month, and Miranda and Orlando announced that baby Bloom was on his way.
Britney Spears and Jason Alexander
Okay sure, this wedding might have been more 'shotgun' than 'secret', but it still made jaws drop. Pop music darling Britney Spears married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in a spur-of-the-moment ceremony... in Las Vegas. Obviously. It all began, and ended, on New Year's Eve in 2004 when Brit-Brit flew Jason out to Sin City in a private jet; the pair then headed to the chapel ('scuse the cliche) to swap vows. And we all know what happened after that (spoiler: the marriage lasted less than 72 hours).

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden
We suppose we should've seen a wedding between the Good Charlotte rocker and actress-come-glamazon coming, but their early 2015 nuptials were still a (pleasant) surprise. After less than a year of dating, the couple married in an intimate ceremony at Cameron's home in Beverly Hills, complete with a guest list only fitting an A-lister wedding. Think Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Samantha Ronson - talk about pressure to nail your wedding favours.
Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig
We know, we know. We sometimes forget that these two are married too. Wed in a super-secret ceremony in 2011 after an equally hush-hush courtship, Rachel and Daniel rarely walk the red carpet as a pair, but they have hit the stage together: in 2013 they made their debut performance at the Barrymore Theatre in New York in Harold Pinter's play Betrayal. If we were Rachel, we wouldn't want to let the James Bond actor out much either - have you seen his smoulder? Damn.
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard
This hilarious duo got engaged in 2009, but announced they wouldn't tie the knot until gay marriage was legalised. When the time came, the pair dropped into the county clerk's office to pick up their marriage licence and, when a court employee offered an on-the-spot ceremony, Kristen and Dax spontaneously said 'I do'. Come on now, say it with us: cute!
