You'll never guess how many guests were at this Stradbroke Island wedding...

Six. There were six guests at Anna and Jakub's wedding - and that includes the celebrant and photographer.
But first things first - the big question. When Jakub took Anna to a swish restaurant on a Friday night, she thought he had won the lottery, so an impromptu proposal between main course and dessert was the last thing Anna expected. With Anna working on her phD project in Brisbane and Jakub in the Czech Republic, the couple decided during a Skype session to get married on Stradbroke Island. "We first had to ask our parents if they would mind not being at our wedding, and surprisingly they were quite OK with it," says Anna. "So I had just four jobs: find a place, find a celebrant, find a photographer and find witnesses." Anna found the ceremony location on a day trip out of Brisbane. "We wanted a really small and simple wedding, so we decided to just have a picnic on the beach and sleep in the tent in the camping grounds," Anna explains. The day before their civil ceremony, Anna realised she didn't have any flowers and, with no florists on the island, the couple had to ask the locals for help. "We went to the ice cream shop to ask if there was some possibility of getting flowers. They were surprised that we were getting married on the island, so they called their friends who bought us beautiful flowers from the mainland the next day."
