The pair tied the knot in a traditional Catholic ceremony held in their local church. Both of their mothers were witnesses in the service. "Tom thought I'd had a valium before the ceremony - obviously I did not!" says the bride. "I had to explain to him that I was feeling so overwhelmed. In hindsight it was funny how I was crying the whole way down the aisle. I had my dad and stepdad on each side and I think they carried me the whole way. I was really just overwhelmed with joy." One of the bride's favourite moments happened at the altar, when she saw Tom's four-year-old son, Jack, looking up at his dad. "It really warmed my heart."
The beautiful Vue Grand hotel set the scene for the grand reception, and ten minutes before the bridal party made their entrance it was decided that each couple would dance into the dining room. The bridesmaids and groomsmen cut shapes to Cypress Hill's Jump Around and the newlyweds danced to Red Foo's Juicy Wiggle.
