Emily and Kym held their ceremony in the groom's parents' front garden - a perch that overlooks the beach and crystal-blue water. "They put an enormous amount of work in preparing their home for our wedding day, and it looked amazing! We wrote our own vows too, which was fantastic as it allowed us to put a personal touch on the ceremony." Following the 'I do's, the newlyweds and their guests made for the reception, where cracking fare was a top priority. "We wanted a simple menu with good country food," Emily explains. "My parents are oyster farmers so, of course, oysters were part of the entrée, along with other canapés. We took advantage of the cooking talents of our friends and family and had a dessert table. This doubled as a decorative display and looked great on the wooden trestle tables."
