Are these the most popular wedding songs ever?

According to Spotify, the answer is a big yes.
The on-demand music streaming service recently revealed the most popular songs for first dances and wedding reception playlists. Music plays an important role in helping to set the tone and atmosphere of a wedding, and these lists prove that some tunes are tried-and-tested favourites with thousands of couples around the globe. To come up with the most popular songs, Spotify looked at the tracks on its users' wedding-themed playlists - about 6.7 million playlists all up. That's a lot of bridal waltzes and dance battles.

With a mix of classic and more contemporary picks, these round-ups are inspiration central for couples having trouble settling on a first dance tune. Likewise, the wedding reception list proves that some tracks - think Beyonce's "Crazy in Love", Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl" and Outkast's "Hey Ya!" - are sure-fire crowd-pleasers, guaranteed to get your guests on the d-floor within seconds.
