Who interrupted Natalie and Daniel's first dance?

The groom's brother and one of the bride's best friends. Don't worry, they were the couple's MCs, but what they did next took the newlyweds by surprise...
"They were treating the night like they were hosting the Logies," explains Natalie. "They told us to prepare for our first dance together, and were about to announce us onto the dance floor when the music cut to 'Ice Ice Baby' by Vanilla Ice - they rapped and danced to that themselves. They totally hijacked our first dance but it was great because they got the crowd going for us and we weren't as nervous when we finally entered the dance floor for our turn!"

At their reception at Perth's Fraser Restaurant, the couple made sure to look after Natalie's sweet-tooth by having not one, not two, but three wedding cakes. Oh, and a dessert buffet. "My aunt bakes delicious cakes and has been roped into baking cakes for every family event for as long as I can remember," says the bride. "She offered to make everything. We knew it would be amazing (and it was!), so we provided noodle boxes for guests to fill with goodies at the end of the night for a midnight snack."

Natalie and Daniel created a classic, timeless theme for their big day. "I love the traditions that go with weddings, so we stuck to the classics and kept it quite formal." The pair said their 'I do's at St Columba's Catholic Church in Perth, a beautiful building that set the tone for their nuptials. Natalie wasn't convinced by the idea of a videographer at first, but a few of the couple's friends chipped in to make sure they had one. "I am so happy we had a videographer," Natalie says. "You go to so much effort planning every minute detail of the day and it passes by in a flash. Our videographer captured so many moments we didn't see, such as each other getting ready, my bridesmaids walking down the aisle and our bridal party walking into the reception."
