Priscilla and Jacob tied the knot at Henderson Park Farm Retreat in Barmoya, Queensland, close to their hometowns. The couple swapped their vows on a pontoon overlooking Hedlow Creek and made sure to include their daughters, plus their nieces and nephews, in the ceremony. "There was a moment during our first kiss when I heard my daughter say from the front row, 'Oh my goodness', and as I turned to look she had her hand over her mouth giggling," Priscilla says. "It was adorable and captured by the photographer."
The service was backed up with post-ceremony drinks and cocktails, before the newlyweds and guests moved into the reception space. For his speech, one of the groomsmen interviewed the bride and groom, then wrote his own take on a bush poem on the back of a beer carton. "The poem told the tale of our early beginnings at primary school to our reconnect and engagement in rhyming prose," explains the bride. "He declared before the big day that his masterpiece would get a giggle and bring a tear - suffice to say everyone underestimated the concreter/groomsman!"
