Tristen had her dress made by a family friend. After devouring bridal magazines, she chose a couple of designs she liked and then with the help of her dressmaker, designed the perfect Grecian-style gown.  Tristen's sisters, who are twins, and a close friend acted as bridesmaids for the day. The three girls wore latte-coloured calf-length satin dresses, which Tristen found on sale. The girls completed their outfits with matching diamante brooches and killer heels.

Tristen and Chris decided on a garden setting for their ceremony and were married in the gardens of the prestigious Le Milleurs Horizons golf course in Port Stephens. The couple wrote their own vows and had a few close friends and family members performed bible readings. Despite the prediction of storms, the rain held out for the ceremony, so the couple could enjoy the garden wedding.

The fun continued at the Le Milleurs Horizons golf course as guests kicked on for the reception. A friend of the couple played guitar as the guests were served canapes and the bride’s uncle, who played MC for the night had everyone in hysterics as he shared stories about the bride and groom. The couple gave each guest a bottle of wine and presented their parents with gifts during the speeches.

For dessert, Chris and Tristen chose a layered white and dark chocolate mud cake from Imagine Cakes. The design had three tiers and was decorated with pearls, orchids and dodder vine. The couple also had figurines of themselves made to sit atop the cake.
