Why we love The Bathers' Pavilion
The Bathers’ Pavilion is a Sydney institution that has been long-loved for its dining credentials and beachfront setting. The historic building has Art Deco feels (it used to be a changing complex run by the local council) but has been rebuilt to feature a dedicated function room and terrace.
You’ll find these spaces on the venue’s first floor, and both of them are yours exclusively when you host your nuptials at Bathers’ Pavilion. The function area, or The Room, boasts walls clad with 1200 sheets of silver – a clever interior design trick intended to create a look of light reflecting on the water. The Room is decked out with neutral hues, so you won’t have to worry about your colour scheme clashing. The Terrace is only a few metres away and has views overlooking Balmoral Beach and out to the Sydney Heads – the perfect place for your ceremony and pre-reception cocktails.
The Bathers’ Pavilion’s wedding menu is updated seasonally by owner and executive chef Serge Dansereau. If you want to blend two cuisines together, the talented kitchen team can make that happen too. The in-house sommelier is also on hand to guide you through the award-winning wine list.
